With eight years of custom application development, OmniPilot Software applications ensure that clients benefit from time-tested efficiencies, which have proven to yield success. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Starmark International, ranked #43 on the 2003 Inc. 500 list of the fastest growing privately held companies in the U.S.

The Birth of OmniPilot
OmniPilot Software's roots trace back to 1978 when a young, ambitious advertising agency named Starmark was originally founded in Chicago. During its initial 15 years in operation, Starmark enjoyed tremendous success, opening additional offices in Denver and Milwaukee, and starting affiliate companies serving the photo/design and custom publishing industries. With more than 140 employees and blue chip clients throughout the world, Starmark became one of the largest multi-discipline advertising/marketing communications consortiums in the Midwest.

In the 1990s, Starmark relocated to Fort Lauderdale, FL and acquired a young and vibrant Internet development company, TKOnet. Founded by four graduates from Ringling School of Art and Design in 1994, TKOnet was awarded four stars from Yahoo! Internet Life for their first commercial Web site. Quickly exhausting the limitations of Web sites coded by hand, TKOnet started utilizing Lasso's powerful and advanced Web application server to develop data-driven Web sites.

With TKOnet's talented programmers now in-house, Starmark became one of the leading high-tech integrated marketing communications agencies in Florida. Starmark then set out to build its own proprietary management software, one that would manage every aspect of agency operations. Initially implemented in 1998, the software would later become OmniPilot Agency, facilitating organization, communication and productivity functions in a comprehensive way that other systems simply could not match.

Based on interest from other advertising agencies seeking comprehensive management software, Starmark decided to launch OmniPilot and bring its creative agency management software solution to market as an independent company in 2002.

In August 2004, Brett Circe, who serves as both president of OmniPilot Software and partner in Starmark International, spearheaded OmniPilot's acquisition of the Lasso product line from Blue World Communications, Inc. based in Bellevue, Washington. The Lasso development team relocated to OmniPilot's headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Lasso suite of cross platform software tools allows companies to quickly build and serve powerful data-driven Web sites. More than 15,000 corporations, educational institutions and non-profits around the world use OmniPilot's software.
