OmniPilot Members of the Board. Dan Estes, CEO, Starmark International, Inc.
A skilled entrepreneur and team builder, Dan is the architect of three of the fastest-growing, privately held companies in the United States over the past 25 years. Dan's first company, Starmark, Inc., became the first company ever named to Inc. magazine's list of the 500 Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies for five years in a row. Dan sold Starmark, Inc. in 1994, and relocated to South Florida's boating and fishing lifestyle in 1996.
After a brush with early retirement, he reopened Starmark International in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Now in its 26th year, the new, reborn Starmark returned to the Inc. 500 list in 2003 after a 16-year absence only to be named again for the seventh time a year later in 2004 - the third company to ever achieve this special Hall of Fame honor.
Dan decided to spin off OmniPilot Software, Inc. as an independent company in 2002, but continues to serve as a member of the Board of Directors. Dan holds both a bachelor's degree from Indiana University and a master's degree from Purdue University.
Peggy Nordeen, President, Starmark International, Inc.
A graduate of the University of Iowa, School of Communications, Peggy co-founded Starmark/Chicago in 1978. Starmark, Inc. first appeared on Inc. magazine's list of the 500 Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies in 1987 and stayed there for five years in a row.
In 1998, Peggy and her founding partner relocated to South Florida and reopened Starmark International. The company returned to the Inc. 500 list in 2003 after a 16-year absence only to be named again for the seventh time a year later in 2004 - the third company to ever achieve this special Hall of Fame honor.
Peggy currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for OmniPilot Software. She also chairs the Broward Alliance Technology Committee, is a member of the Internet Coast, South Florida Tech 100, and the South Florida Internet Marketing Association. She has been the keynote speaker at the First Annual Summit on Quality held by Fortune Magazine and participated in the Working Woman 500 Congress in Washington, DC, and in CEO Roundtables of the World's Best Managed Companies sponsored by Industry Week. Peggy has also been featured in South Florida CEO magazine in a special issue focusing on women in power.
Peggy also spearheads Starmark's pro bono work for three charities: A Child is Missing, Jack & Jill Children's Center and for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County where she currently chairs the marketing and public relations committee and serves on the Board of Directors.
Brett Circe, President, OmniPilot Software
Soon after graduating with a BFA in Graphic Design from the Ringling School of Art and Design, when, while working for a Boca Raton catalog company, he built his first e-commerce website. By 1997 Brett had started his own Internet design and hosting company, TKOnet.com, which was eagerly acquired one year later by Starmark International, a successful and growing South Florida advertising agency.
While he's established a respected reputation in a variety of creative fields, Brett is well known within software development circles for his commitment to taking software development and web design to new levels - and he has done so repeatedly throughout his career. Brett's strong advertising agency background has given him a comprehensive understanding of the creative mindset and business methodology - as well as a unique perspective in the design and construction of software solutions that want to work faster, smarter and more profitably. As president of OmniPilot Software, Brett has achieved a reputation as a conceptual and strategic thinker while architecting software and web sites for e-commerce and database applications. He resides in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with his family.
