How to recover a database in FileMaker

Discussion

  1. Open FileMaker Pro

  2. Go to File->Recover

  3. Select the file from your databases/data folder. It will ask you to save the recovered file, choose the same folder. Once it's done, it will re-name your file by adding the word "recovered" to the end.

  4. Name the original by adding "old" to the end of the name. Re-name the recovered one back to the original name "OPA_Multimedia_.fp7"

  5. Then, try to open the database with the FileMaker Server so it will start to serve it again.
